We have chosen the Name Versa Weimaraners to honor the Versatility of this wonderful breed.

Weimaraners can truly do “it all” they can show their beauty and conformation in the “Show”ring, do intricate heeling patterns or retrieve a dumbell in the Obedience ring – head out in the Field to hunt for quail or pheasants and retrieve the birds to their masters hands or Track a human scent or possibly just lay on the couch or go for a long walk to be “Men’s Best friend”. Our current dogs can do it all and we consider ourselves very fortunate to share our home with our beloved Gray Ghosts. new

We have exciting puppy news to tell everyone about!

We have owned Weimaraners for over 25 Years. Our first beloved Weims Micah and Melodie have long ago passed away but are still in our hearts and thought of fondly. Both Micah and Melodie came from breeders not interested in Conformation and Performance events therefore we never pursued either. Now thinking back we could have done so much especially with Micah who was incredibly intelligent and could have done many of the performance events we now pursue with our current Weimaraners. He would have been an incredible Obedience, Tracking and Hunting companion. We loved them both until they passed away at age 13 and 14.

It took as several years of grieving before we decided to get another Weimaraner, this time we did a lot of research on quality breeders and thru a referral from Virginia Alexander found Lynn Berryman and purchased our beloved Stormy. All we wanted was “the best dog money could buy” to own another great pet. Well we got so much more, our Dog Stormy Ch.Starfire’s Great Sturmwarnung, UD,JH,NRD,NSD,VX,CGC has done everything we could have ever dreamed of. He finished his Championship easily with the help of his Handler Suzy Fox and then was trained by us in Obedience, Hunting and Retrieving.

He has excelled in Obedience Events and has received many 1 Place finishes in Obedience Competitions including winning the prestigious High In Trial at the Weimaraner Nationals from the Novice A class. What a wonderful dog he is.

The day we won High in Trial at the Nationals we received an incredible gift. Chris Grisell, of Nani’s Weimaraners agreed to let us take home Frankie a beautiful 5 Months old Weim pup, after meeting him, admiring him and wanting him desperately Chris agreed share him with us.

Frankie Ch. Nani’s Ldan Frankly Speaking, CDX,SH,TD,SD,NRD,VX2,CGC at age 4 has excelled in Conformation, Hunting, Obedience and Tracking events. He is a beautiful and highly intelligent companion dog that has done very well in the show ring (Please see his winning record on Frankie’s page) He has sired some nice puppies. Frankie is currently training for his TDX , UD and MH titles.

The newest addition to our Family is Sophie,
Sophie :Ch.Nani’s Sophisticated Lady is still a very young bitch. This little beauty is another Nani’s dog bound to step into her Sire and Dam’s footsteps becoming a great show and performance dog. Sophie finished her Championship with ease at 14 months of age.

Owning our wonderful Weimaraners has given us immeasurable pleasure and wonderful times, we have met great friends and have learned so much. Our love for Weimaraners has compelled us to become involved with Weimaraner Rescue, helping out the less fortunate dogs has been a very rewarding experience.
